Today is our Annual holiday of Thanksgiving. It is a time when we are all supposed to sit down, celebrate, and give thanks for the year’s good fortunes. One of the good fortunes I have had the last year is being able to write this blog. It was not all that long ago that it was not even possible. In order to do what I do here every week one would have to publish a printed newsletter and then send it to those who I think will want to read it. A time and expense that is out of the reach of most of us. Today however thanks to the internet, platforms like WordPress, and technology in general almost everyone has the opportunity to be creative and share with the rest of the world, not just a select few on a mailing list. For better or worse, good or bad, interesting or boring, I am, as one person able to share my passion in ways that were unimaginable a few years ago.

The other day I participated in a Hangout on Google+. Besides it being fun and easy I was profoundly struck by how simple it now is to communicate and collaborate and share with anyone around the world.

For all this I am truly thankful. God Bless and Happy Holidays.
